　　秘书工作的特殊性，决定了秘书人员说话，既不能口无遮拦、“竹筒倒豆子”，也不能凡事三缄其口或是只说些“不痛不痒”的话。可以说，是否“说”和如何“说”，对秘书人员而言，不仅是一门必须熟练驾驭的语言艺术，也是一种必须潜心修炼的人生智慧。（文章摘自《秘书工作》杂志2014年第1期，原题目为《秘书人员“说”和“不说”的艺术》）

“十不说”：

　　不说过头话。秘书人员的一言一行、一举一动往往备受关注，“谨言”二字是须臾不可忽视的。对于需要保密的事宜必须守口如瓶，违背原则有悖身份的话也绝不能说，心中一定要牢牢把握说话的底线和原则。

　　不说无头话。秘书人员要特别注意不能说没有根据的话，不能传递捕风捉影、道听途说的消息，更不能“睁眼说瞎话”。说出口的话必须字字确凿、句句有凭，经过细致严密的调查确认，经得起实践检验和事实证明。

　　不说空头话。开“空头支票”是秘书人员必须避免的。在领导面前乱表态，既要误事，也是不负责任的表现。在其他人面前乱许诺，则会践踏原则，贬损领导威信。因此，秘书绝不能做“语言的巨人”。

　　不说大头话。所谓“大头话”，就是摆出“二领导”的架子，自以为是，狐假虎威，吆五喝六耍威风，满嘴官腔衙门调，以势压人。这样的秘书终将为众人所唾弃。

　　不说私小话。秘书人员作为领导身边人，讲话虽不说举足轻重，也会产生某种程度的影响。因此，秘书人员必须严于律己，不暗自“夹带私货”，不悄悄“打小算盘”，而要出自公心说话，成为净化风气的“推手”。

　　不说垃圾话。秘书人员是一个窗口，必须自觉远离脏话、粗话、“段子”，以嘉言懿行展示机关良好形象。即使遇见有意刁难、出言不逊者，也要以宽容礼貌待之，切不可“唇枪舌剑”。

　　不说附和话。秘书人员服务领导，被动的工作居多，但也要有自己独立的见解，敢于表达自己的观点。既不能唯唯诺诺一味盲从，领导说什么是什么；也不能人云亦云讲违心话，“风吹两边倒”，毫无主见。只有有一说一、有二说二，实实在在讲清自己的意见建议，才能体现作为秘书的真正价值。

　　不说虚伪话。“君子坦荡荡，小人长戚戚。”言虽口出，但源自内心。秘书人员要常怀纯真之心，对人对事以客观事实为准绳，不编谎造假，不说半句留半句，不为一己之私对领导极尽阿谀奉承之能事，对他人专打马虎眼、乱涂万金油、惯于和稀泥。否则人格尽失，何谈有为？

　　不说鲁莽话。鲁莽冒失是秘书人员讲话的大忌，往往会造成工作的被动。因此，在工作中一定要多用商量的语气，多用委婉的方式，营造融洽的气氛，准确把握讲话的分寸、方式和技巧等，“在适当的时候以适当的方式讲适当的话”。

　　不说牢骚话。秘书工作很辛苦，起早贪黑无闲日，但这不能成为牢骚满腹的理由。秘书人员如果整日怨天尤人，就不自觉地充当了消极思想的“鼓风机”，既给别人带来不良影响，也不利于自身身心健康。
