font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="max-width: 100%; font-size: 18px; box-sizing: border-box !important;">要对各部门推荐的人进行深入了解，很不容易。有的单位把推荐的干部说得挺好，后来从侧面了解不是那么回事，这样的干部不能要；有的已经准备调过来，突然发现问题了，就停下来，让单位另外推荐人；有些我们看上的优秀同志原单位不肯放，我们就耐心地去做工作；有的单位不好好推荐，干脆就不让这个单位推荐了。这项工作持续了差不多一年时间，因为一个单位推荐一个人，要考察好得跑很多次，没有把握不敢调进来。我们要对组织负责，有时候很担心做不好，压力也比较大，常常睡不好觉。经过这样严格的考察筛选，选调进来的同志可以说政治上是过关的，从后来的情况看，表现基本上都是不错的。</span></p><p style="margin-bottom: 10px; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="max-width: 100%; font-size: 18px; box-sizing: border-box !important;">人们总说创业难，咱这大机关创业也难。当时工作条件很艰苦，可以说是“一穷二白”。中央纪委第一个纪检室成立的时候，包括主任刘鸣九，副主任韩觉民、刘丽英在内的所有人，只能挤在一间屋里办公。每人一张三屉小桌，一把木板凳，就是所有的办公家具了。当时大家一边学习一边工作，加班加点是常态。很多同志经常忙到晚上十点，也没有加班费，可是没有一个人叫苦叫累的。</span></p><p style="margin-bottom: 10px; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="max-width: 100%; font-size: 18px; box-sizing: border-box !important;">我最早在一室，后来又到六室。六室联系西北、西南地区，我们处具体联系西北地区。开始的时候是查冤假错案，此类案件数量还挺大的。还有反映受到打击报复的，也查过好几起。有一个单位的支部书记，被调到一个冷门岗位工作，他认为是领导对他打击报复，给他“穿小鞋”，上来反映情况。我带队去查，查了半天，从县委组织部到公社的党委都去了，最后查清楚了，不是打击报复，是正常的调动，只是这个人一直不服。后来我就跟他讲，没有证据说人家打击报复，没有这回事。最后他也接受了。</span></p><p style="margin-bottom: 10px;
